- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown, then transfer skillet to the oven.
- After 10 minutes, brush pork chops with barbecue sauce and sprinkle brown sugar on top. Continue baking for another 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Remove pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley.
