Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Peel and mash the bananas in a large bowl using a fork.
  2. Add the melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and stir until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool before slicing.
