Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • q.s. fresh cilantro chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, stir in taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, then cook for 2-3 more minutes until well coated.
  2. In a large, clear bowl or trifle dish, layer the salad starting with romaine lettuce, followed by black beans, seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
  3. Top with diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped cilantro.
