Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese for added richness
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the linguine pasta, and cook until al dente. Drain and reserve a bit of pasta water.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned and desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add beef broth and heavy cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in cream cheese, Parmesan, and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
  4. Add cooked linguine and steak bites to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and simmer for 2 more minutes.
  5. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan, serving hot.
