- Dissolve the fresh baker’s yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour and a pinch of salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter across the surface, and sprinkle with sugar.
- Fold the dough into thirds like a letter, turn a quarter, and repeat three times.
- Shape the dough and place it in a buttered mold. Let it rest for 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and fragrant. Let cool slightly before unmolding.
