- Combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently with your hands until evenly distributed.
- Divide the meat mixture into equal portions about the size of golf balls.
- Flatten each portion into a patty, place a small cube of cheddar cheese in the center, and wrap the meat around the cheese to seal it completely.
- Roll the assembled meatballs gently between your palms to form smooth balls and coat lightly with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each one.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the outsides are crispy and the insides are cooked through.

Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce into the meat mixture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, or frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for best results to maintain crispiness. Experiment with different types of cheese or spices to customize the flavor to your liking!
