Ingredients
  

  • 300 g halal ground beef
  • 250 g macaroni pasta
  • 400 g crushed tomatoes (1 can)
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and let them soften until golden brown.
  3. Toss in the halal ground beef and break it up with a wooden spoon, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper, then let the mixture simmer gently for 15 minutes, covered.
  5. Boil water in a separate pot and cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain well.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet with the beef sauce and stir together.
  7. Sprinkle in the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until completely melted.
  8. Spoon the goulash into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
