- Chop broccoli into small florets and boil them in salted water for 5 to 7 minutes until soft but still vibrant green.
- Drain the broccoli well and give it a rough chop.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked broccoli, grated cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, flour, minced garlic, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Scoop out a spoonful of the mixture, roll it into a ball about 4 cm wide, and place on a plate lined with parchment paper.
- Fry in a pan with oil over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side or bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 to 20 minutes on a parchment-lined tray.
- Serve hot with a dipping sauce like marinara or yogurt-based dip.
