Cheesy Salmon Shrimp

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g Salmon Fillet
  • 200 g Peeled Shrimp
  • 250 g Broccoli Florets
  • 150 g Cheddar Cheese grated
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • to taste Lemon Juice

Equipment

  • Medium-sized pot
  • Large oven-safe skillet or baking dish
  • Cutting board
  • Chef’s knife
  • Cheese grater

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil and blanch the broccoli for 3 to 5 minutes; drain and cool under cold water.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute.
  4. Add peeled shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and pink.
  5. In an oven-safe baking dish, place the salmon fillet in the center and arrange the broccoli florets around it.
  6. Scatter the sautéed shrimp over the salmon and broccoli.
  7. Sprinkle freshly grated cheddar cheese over the entire dish and add a squeeze of lemon juice.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the cheese is melted and golden.
