Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fresh or dried noodles
  • 3 tbsp homemade or store-bought chili oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • a handful fresh cilantro leaves

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles until al dente.
  2. Drain the noodles and rinse them under cold water.
  3. In a small bowl, mix chili oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and minced garlic until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Toss the cooked noodles with the sauce in a large mixing bowl using tongs.
  5. Sprinkle chopped green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and cilantro on top, and give it one final toss.
