  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Crack in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
