  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 4 large Potatoes (peeled and cubed)
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 0.5 cup Milk (for mashed potatoes)

Method
 

  1. Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until combined.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape into a freeform loaf on a baking sheet. Spread half the ketchup over the top.
  3. Bake the meatloaf at 350°F for about an hour until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  4. Boil the potatoes until fork-tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
