Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, chopped

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain any excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt, then pour in the heavy cream and beef broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese until melted, adding red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Toss cooked bowtie pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if it's too thick.
  7. Stir in chopped spinach and roasted red peppers until warmed through.
  8. Adjust seasoning if needed and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
