Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook until al dente, about 11-13 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Transfer beef to a bowl and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer gently, then reduce heat. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Return cooked beef to the skillet, add drained rigatoni, and toss until coated in the creamy sauce.
  6. Top with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
