Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy sauce until well coated.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to combine. Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
