  • 2 breasts boneless, skinless chicken cut into strips
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and let it shimmer before adding the chicken strips seasoned with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated and develops a golden crust (about 6-8 minutes), then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in the buffalo sauce, heavy cream, and chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits, and let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and stir to coat, then return the chicken to combine everything.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top, stir until melted, and garnish with fresh parsley.
