  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt & pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat; add ground beef and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and minced garlic; cook for about a minute.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, then bring to a low simmer; add cheddar and Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Toss the drained noodles into the skillet, coating with the creamy sauce; simmer for another 2-3 minutes and adjust seasoning if needed; garnish with parsley.
