Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups favorite lasagna noodles, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups your choice of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)

Method
 

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Drain excess fat, if necessary.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and add broken lasagna noodles. Cook until noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in Alfredo sauce and your choice of cheese. Mix until the cheese melts and soup is creamy.
