Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds Cube Steak
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 packet Onion Soup Mix
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

  1. Season the cube steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Mix the beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  3. Sear the steak in a skillet over medium-high heat with a tablespoon of butter for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Transfer the seared steak to the slow cooker.
  5. Pour the broth mixture over the steak in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. For extra richness, add a dollop of sour cream during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  8. To thicken the gravy, whisk together 2 tablespoons of flour with ¼ cup of water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes.
