- Cut the steak into bite-sized chunks and season with salt and pepper.
- Peel and cube the potatoes, keeping them roughly the same size.
- Slice the onion thinly and mince the garlic.
- Layer the onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the cubed potatoes on top of the onions.
- Place the seasoned steak over the potatoes.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then drizzle olive oil on top.
- Cover and set the crockpot to low.
- Cook for 6–8 hours on low or 4–5 hours on high.
- Stir everything gently once done, and optionally mix cornstarch with water to thicken the sauce during the last 15 minutes.
- Serve with a dollop of butter and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
