Ingredients
  

  • 4 steaks filet mignon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • q.s. Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • q.s. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper on both sides and let sit for a few minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard until smooth and creamy, adjusting seasoning if needed.
  7. Plate the steaks, drizzle the creamy sauce over the top, and garnish with parsley before serving.
