Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs Flank Steak
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • q.s. Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Red Wine (optional)

Method
 

  1. Start by patting the flank steak dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub the steak with olive oil, then sprinkle generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cumin.
  3. In your slow cooker, pour in the beef broth and balsamic vinegar.
  4. Add minced garlic for flavor, then place the seasoned flank steak on top.
  5. If using red wine, pour it in now.
  6. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Once done, remove the flank steak and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Use two forks to shred the meat, then return it to the juices in the slow cooker.
