Ingredients
  

  • 450 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped fresh recommended
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 60 ml white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt two tablespoons of butter and add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring for 30 seconds until golden.
  3. Add seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer, cooking undisturbed for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in the white wine or chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Simmer for a minute, then stir in the remaining butter and parsley.
