- Divide the ground chuck into 8 small balls, each about 3 ounces.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, onion salt, and garlic salt.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, add the minced garlic, and let it gently simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Brush the garlic butter onto the hamburger buns and toast them on a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
- Brush a small amount of garlic butter on top of each ground beef ball and sprinkle some garlic salt.
- Heat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat, place the ground beef balls, and press them into thin patties about 1/4 inch thick.
- Once the burgers have cooked on one side for about 3-4 minutes, flip them over and place a slice of cheese on each patty.
- Stack half of the burger patties on top of the other half, creating double-decker burgers.
- Place the stacked patties onto the toasted buns and add your favorite toppings.
- Serve the Garlic Double Steakburgers immediately while they're still hot and juicy.
