Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup kale leaves stems removed
  • 1 medium banana frozen
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

  • Grater for ginger

Method
 

  1. Wash the spinach and kale thoroughly, then pat them dry.
  2. Peel and slice the banana, then add it to the blender along with frozen mango and pineapple.
  3. Pour in the almond milk and freshly squeezed lemon juice; add vanilla extract if desired.
  4. Sprinkle in the chia seeds, and blend everything on high speed until smooth.
