Ingredients

  • 1 lb lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Equipment

  • Nonstick skillet or grill pan
  • Baking sheet (for oven method)
  • Air fryer basket (optional)
  • Tongs for flipping
  • Meat thermometer

Method

  1. Toss the chicken pieces in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Massage the marinade into the chicken.
  2. If time allows, let the chicken marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your cooking surface: For stovetop, heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. For oven, preheat to 400°F (200°C). If using an air fryer, set it to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Cook the chicken pieces in a single layer without overcrowding for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  6. For extra juiciness, consider brining the chicken in saltwater for 15-20 minutes before marinating.
