  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Method
 

  1. Start by slicing your chicken breasts into thin, even strips and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Sprinkle both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano. Let the seasoned chicken sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a nonstick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat, or preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) with a wire rack on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle some olive oil onto the heated surface to prevent sticking.
  5. Cook the chicken strips undisturbed for 3–4 minutes per side on the stovetop, or bake for 15–20 minutes in the oven, flipping halfway.
  6. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; chicken should be at 165°F (74°C).
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
