- Peeled back the husks of the corn but do not remove them completely; soak the corn in water for about 10 minutes.
- Mix softened butter with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; spread this mixture generously over each ear of corn.
- Tear off sheets of aluminum foil large enough to wrap each ear completely and place the seasoned corn in the center; fold the edges tightly to seal.
- Heat the grill to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F) and place the wrapped corn directly on the grates; cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
