  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup pineapple slices fresh or canned
  • optional BBQ sauce for brushing

Method
 

  1. Fire up your grill to medium heat (about 375°F for gas grills).
  2. Clean the grill grate and lightly oil it to prevent sticking.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder to create the glaze.
  4. Place the ham steak on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, brushing on the glaze generously halfway through.
  5. While the ham finishes cooking, toss the pineapple slices onto the grill, cooking until golden and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the ham steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
