  • 500 g pre-boiled octopus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • to taste Ground black pepper
  • 3 pinches cayenne pepper
  • 1 bag mixed salad greens
  • for serving lemon wedges

Method
 

  1. Brush the boiled octopus with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Let the seasoned octopus sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Fire up the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Place the octopus on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until slightly charred.
  5. Transfer the grilled octopus to a cutting board and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Arrange the octopus on a bed of mixed greens and garnish with lemon wedges.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.
