Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste toppings of your choice sliced pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives, etc.
  • as needed Olive oil for brushing

  • Grill
  • Pizza Peel or Large Spatula
  • Parchment Paper (optional)
  • Olive Oil for Brushing

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill and pizza stone to medium-high heat, around 450°F to 500°F.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough into a thin circle or rectangle.
  3. Brush one side of the dough lightly with olive oil and flip the oiled side down onto parchment paper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the top, sprinkle on the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and add your desired toppings.
  5. Carefully slide the assembled pizza (still on the parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone.
  6. Close the grill lid and let the pizza cook for about 5-7 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  7. Use a spatula or pizza peel to transfer the finished pizza to a cutting board.
  8. Let the pizza rest for a minute before slicing and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
