Ingredients
  

  • 8 large shrimp with shells on but deveined
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic grated
  • 1-2 pieces chili peppers finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 unit lemon juice and zest of

  • to taste pepper

Method
 

  1. Light up the BBQ with fire starters and charcoal, letting the coals turn bright red and ash-covered.
  2. In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium heat, add garlic and chili, and sizzle for about 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in lemon juice and zest, then remove from heat.
  4. Pour half of the sauce over the shrimp, massaging it onto the flesh beneath the shell, and let it sit.
  5. Position a clean grill grate above the ready coals and lightly oil it.
  6. Grill the shrimp for 45 seconds to 1 minute per side until shells turn pinkish-orange and meat is opaque.
  7. Transfer to a platter, drizzle remaining sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges and crispy bread.
