- Light up the BBQ with fire starters and charcoal, letting the coals turn bright red and ash-covered.
- In a small pan, heat olive oil over medium heat, add garlic and chili, and sizzle for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest, then remove from heat.
- Pour half of the sauce over the shrimp, massaging it onto the flesh beneath the shell, and let it sit.
- Position a clean grill grate above the ready coals and lightly oil it.
- Grill the shrimp for 45 seconds to 1 minute per side until shells turn pinkish-orange and meat is opaque.
- Transfer to a platter, drizzle remaining sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges and crispy bread.
