Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • as desired Optional Toppings Whipped cream, marshmallows, crushed candy canes, chocolate shavings.

  • Whisk or large mixing spoon
  • Liquid measuring cup
  • Dry measuring cups
  • Ladle for serving

Method
 

  1. Combine whole milk and heavy cream in the crockpot.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips. Stir well.
  3. Place the lid on the crockpot and set it to LOW heat for 2 hours.
  4. Stir halfway through cooking.
  5. After 2 hours, turn off the crockpot and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Serve the hot chocolate in mugs and add desired toppings.
