  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Method
 

  1. Mix the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; cook the sausage until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp, seasoned with salt and pepper, for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque; transfer to a plate.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the sausage and shrimp to the skillet, add the honey garlic sauce, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
