  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice optional, for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter, allowing it to melt.
  2. Place the ham steak in the hot skillet and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Flip the ham steak and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and pineapple juice until smooth.
  5. Pour the glaze mixture over the ham steak in the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the ham occasionally.
