Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce preferably homemade
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Cheese sliced
  • 10-12 leaves Fresh Basil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • to taste Salt and Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Place slices of fresh mozzarella on top of the sauce.
  5. Slide the pizza into the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and add basil leaves.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper before slicing and serving.
