Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 0.5 cup tomato paste
  • 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper
  • pinch of cayenne pepper cayenne pepper

Method
 

  1. Heat a saucepan over medium-low heat and add olive oil.
  2. Add minced garlic and onion, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in apple cider vinegar and water, then add molasses and brown sugar.
  5. Sprinkle in smoked paprika, mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
  6. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  7. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
