Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices country bread
  • 300 g burrata
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional fresh thyme or rosemary

  • Small bowl for tossing tomatoes

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Rinse cherry tomatoes, pat them dry, and place them on the prepared tray.
  3. Drizzle cherry tomatoes with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, then roast for 20 minutes.
  4. Slice country bread into thick pieces and toast lightly until golden brown.
  5. Rub each toasted slice with garlic clove to infuse with garlic flavor.
  6. Tear open the burrata and dollop it onto the warm toast.
  7. Spoon roasted cherry tomatoes over the burrata and drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  8. (Optional) Garnish with freshly torn basil leaves before serving.
