  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine)
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes.
  2. Pat the mozzarella balls dry.
  3. Tear large basil leaves into smaller pieces if necessary.
  4. Thread a cherry tomato, followed by a mozzarella ball, and finish with a basil leaf onto each skewer.
  5. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the assembled skewers.
  6. Let the skewers rest for 10–15 minutes for flavor melding.
