Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces pork chops
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 piece onion, diced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Rub the pork chops with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onions until translucent, then add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until browned.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the onion and mushroom mixture, stirring well. Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the pork chops to the skillet, covering them with the sauce. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
