- Start by slicing the beef thinly against the grain and chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
 - Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and sear the beef slices for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
 - Remove the beef from the pan and add another tablespoon of oil, then stir-fry the broccoli florets for 3–4 minutes.
 - Return the beef to the pan with the broccoli, pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar, and stir well.
 - Add the cornstarch slurry and cook for another minute until the sauce thickens.
