Ingredients
  

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose wheat flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup hot water

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spatula
  • 9x13 inch rectangular pan or Bundt pan
  • Small saucepan

Method
 

  1. Blend the eggs, sugar, oil, cocoa powder, and flour in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour the batter into a bowl, add baking powder and salt, then pour in the hot water and whisk until combined.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a Bundt pan or 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 40 minutes.
  5. For the topping, combine milk, cocoa powder, butter, and sugar in a saucepan; stir over medium heat until bubbly.
  6. Immediately pour the hot topping over the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.

Notes
