  • 1 pound Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 red Bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) Diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 2 cups Cooked pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent and fragrant.
  2. Toss in the minced garlic and cook for another minute, being careful not to let it burn.
  3. Add the ground beef or turkey to the skillet. Break it up with a wooden spoon and cook until it’s no longer pink.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  5. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and red bell pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, ensuring every piece is coated in the flavorful sauce.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and stir gently to combine.
