  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley optional

Method
 

  1. Start by slicing your bread into even pieces to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder and parsley.
  3. Use a pastry brush to spread the butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place a slice of cheese between two pieces of bread, buttered sides facing out.
  5. Arrange the assembled sandwiches snugly on a greased sheet pan, leaving space between them.
  6. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Bake the sandwiches for about 8–10 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  8. Flip the sandwiches halfway through baking for an extra crisp finish.
  9. For serving, wrap the sandwiches in foil to keep them warm if necessary.
