Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Method
 

  1. Slice the steak into thin strips.
  2. Mix together the soy sauce and brown sugar in a small bowl until smooth and glossy.
  3. Marinate the steak strips in the sauce for at least 30 minutes in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  4. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat, adding a little oil.
  5. Cook the steak strips in a single layer for 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked through.
  6. Allow the steak to rest for a few minutes before serving.
