Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and sesame seeds. Stir well.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the mixture and toss until fully coated.
  3. Pour the chicken and sauce mixture into the slow cooker and cover with the lid.
  4. Set the slow cooker to LOW and cook for 4 to 6 hours.
  5. Once done, lift the lid and gently stir the chicken before serving it over hot rice.

Notes

Feel free to use chicken thighs instead of breasts for juicier results. You can adjust the sweetness of the dish by modifying the amount of sugar or using honey as a substitute.
