Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Nilla wafer cookies (about 45 cookies)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large ripe bananas with some brown spots for sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4-ounce
  • 1 ½ cups cold whole milk

Method
 

  1. Crush Nilla wafer cookies until fine and combine with melted butter to form a crust.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to create an even layer and chill.
  3. In a separate bowl, slice the bananas and toss them with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  4. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, adding powdered sugar and vanilla extract gradually.
  5. Fold in thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  6. Prepare instant vanilla pudding according to package instructions with cold milk and mix into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Layer the banana slices on top of the crust, then spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the bananas.
  8. Add another layer of banana slices, followed by the remaining cream cheese mixture on top.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
  10. Before serving, garnish with additional whipped topping, banana slices, and Nilla wafers.
