- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
- Divide the ground beef mixture into 24 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten slightly to form a patty.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties in the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Place a slice of jalapeño and a generous sprinkle of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cover the pan with a lid for about 1-2 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.
- Toast the slider buns lightly. Place a cooked patty with the melted cheese and jalapeño onto each bun. Add your favorite toppings, close the buns and serve immediately.
