- Cut the broccoli into small florets and boil them in salted water for 5-7 minutes until tender but not mushy. Drain and cool slightly before chopping.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked broccoli, grated cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, flour, minced garlic, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until it forms a sticky dough.
- Scoop small handfuls of the mixture and roll into balls about 4 cm wide. Place on a tray lined with parchment paper.
- For frying, heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the bites for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. For baking, preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
