Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cooked pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 cup andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the sliced sausage over medium heat until browned. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, cheese, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce thickens.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional few minutes to heat through.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
